Historical information
The six boys were from Bulla State School and with their teacher, Mr. Clifford, were attending the Somers Camp in 1961. The camp was owned by the Education Department and ran school camps for Grade 5 and 6 children attending Victorian State Schools. The children with their teacher were preparing to go rowing on the river.
