Historical information

Set of four colour prints of track reconstruction at the intersection of Millers St and St Georges Road. The first three photos show the work being carried out with Thornbury Depot or Preston workshops in the background. Concrete by Boral. The 4th photo shows W7 1015, running a route 10 Sth Melb & St Kilda Beach service with the driver tying off the trolley pole. In the view are two inspectors in green, the driver is in a brown uniform. The tram has adverts for Motorcover Plus insurance and Whitehorse whiskey. The replacement bus is standing on the right-hand side of the photo.
