Historical information
Razors often feature markings such as "Solingen," a city in Germany famous for high-quality blade manufacturing. As with many vintage razors, their value often lies in their craftsmanship and historical significance. Traditional straight razors need regular maintenance, including stropping before each use and occasional honing to keep the edge sharp. Shaving with a cut-throat razor requires practice and a specific technique to achieve a close shave without irritation.
