Historical information
The Scout Jamboree at Frankston, Victoria in 1934/35 was the first Australian Jamboree held. Lord Robert Baden-Powell (1st Baron of Gilwell), the Chief Scout of the World attended and travelled around the camp on a horse greeting boys, scouters and visitors.
