Leah Rosenthal graduated from the Alfred Hospital in 1904.In 1915 joined the Queen Alexandra Imperial Nursing Service Reserve leaving Australia aboard the Karoola on 18/12/1915. Leah was awarded the Associate Royal Red Cross for service under fire [ in France] After the war she established Vimy House private hospital with Isabel Jobson (also an AH Graduate) After Leah's death in 1930 Isabel Jobson established the Leah Rosenthal prize for nurses at the Alfred Hospital
