Historical information
These articles were made during the Depression because Miss Guscott was unable to find employment. She learned to sew and embroider at school, and these pieces are her own design. The scalloped buttonholed edges were made using a threepenny piece as a template. Miss Guscott won a Silver Cup at the Wagga Show in 1936 for this work. (Cup No. 907)
