Historical information

Turner Atkins saw chain was sold in bulk rolls in the 1960s - 70s and often included the sharpening guide as a bonus

Physical description

The guide comprises a steel sleeve that sits over the saw chain surmounted by a turntable which can be adjusted for angle and through which a circular file is inserted to sharpen the teeth of a chainsaw.
