Mounted black and white copy photograph of women working in the clothing factory of Latoof & Calill, 17-29 Brunswick Rd., Brunswick (near the corner of Nicholson Street). One ot three photos - see 2023.095 and 096. Part of 1985 BCHG exhibition held from 7-19 July 1985 at Brunswick Mechanics Institute - 'Brunswick - Pictures Past and Present'. Latoof & Calill opened their Brunswick factory in 1935 and moved to Greensborough in 1946 and then to Benalla. The State Library of Victoria has the same image which is identified as a copy made in 1988 from a 1978 print (A/C# H92.250/941).
