Overseas Service Medal Award for primarily O/S operation with UN Peace Keeping. The UN Medal was awarded for Service in UNIFIL (Lebanon). Several medals have year dates which differ from Western dates i.e. 2020 on overseas medal = 1963, the year it was instituted.
Physical description
Set of four round medals each with a pin on top and ribbon mounted on a wooden and leather mount.
1. King Birendra Silver Jubilee Medal 1997.
2. Overseas Service Medal (Paradesa Seva Pedak).
3. Long Service Good Conduct Medal for 10 Years Military Service.
4. Overseas Service United Nations Medal (UNIFL).
Inscriptions & markings
All have inscriptions in Nepalese except UN Medal which inscribed "In The Service of Peace".
