Textile - Fautley's Stamped Design Apron, Fautleys and Sons, 1940's

Historical information

T.A. Fautleys & Sons (Brunswick, Victoria) manufactured and sold needlework supplies, particularly stamped embroidery patterns from the late 1920's until 1950's. During World War 2 due to austerity measures, some Fautleys patterns were printed on coarser unbleached calico instead of finer fabrics (Australian War Memorial)
