Historical information

This collection was found on a tip at Chewton in central Victoria thirty years ago. Various clues indicate the original owner was part of an Army Medical Corps unit. It includes personal photographs of home life in the regional town of Alexandra Victoria, scenes from central Australia, WA and camp in Darwin, and officially distributed photographs of various locations in New Guinea, including victim remains of the Toll Plantation massacre.
