These two photographs from different angles show T class 180 derailed across both Princes Bridge tracks with trolley pole still raised. T180 was turning from Batman Avenue into Swanston Street and may have been in service as the tram fleet was depleted in these years and some older cars were pressed into service. Also depicted are the tram crew, a policeman, pedestrians and motor vehicles.
