Physical description

Two glass inkwells on an ornately decorated black wooden base, with a hollow at the front for pens. Mother of pearl inlay in a star pattern between the ink wells and in the pen hollow. Goldleaf decoration around sides of the base, which are bevelled and sit on four small ornamental feet. The two inkwells do not sit correctly in the base and are probably not original.
