This item was created as a light-hearted trophy to record winners of a social competition held between staff members of the Council of the Rural City of Wodonga. It was produced in 1988 and the competition only appears to have been conducted for 3 years.
The rules of the competition were listed on the inside of the lid, as set out below:-
RULES
1. THIS TROPHY WILL BE CONTESTED ANNUALLY.
2. HOLDER OF THE TROPHY HAS THE RIGHT TO NOMINATE THE NUMBER & TYPE OF ACTIVITIES PLAYED.
3. NO SERIOUS GAMES le. GOLF, BOWLS etc. WILL BE ALLOWED
4. THIS TROPHY WILL NOT BE USED FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE,
5. ALL CONTESTANTS WILL BE DRESSED IN APPROPRIATE COSTUME OR PART THEREOF OR POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED
6. TROPHY WILL BE PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED OR FORFEITED TO THE LOSER.

Physical description
A wooden toilet seat decorated with the insignia of the Rural Council of Wodonga, text described its purpose as a trophy and metal plaques.
