Summary
Rob Hansen tells the humble beginnings of the Upper Beaconsfield Cricket Club and the growth of Upper Beaconsfield community, by using among other resources a historic Minute Book, scorebooks, and in excess of twenty person accounts from past and present players. There is a clear 1893 photo showing Upper Beaconsfield's first cricket team including Tom a'Beckett, Hans Glismann, Dave Glismann, Alf Shorthouse, Carl Peterson, Bert Shorthouse, Richard Nobel, Mr Albert, and Mr Curl.
