Summary

This book traces the history of a significant property in the Pakenham area that was carved out of Boonwurrung Country at the birth of colonisation in 1838. It subsequently passed through ten owners and was renamed five times: Toomah, Pakenham Park, Mount Bourke, Koo-Man-Goo-Nong, then Mount Bourke again, as it was whittled down to a mere fortieth of its original size. The remainder became the Heritage Springs housing estate in 21st century Pakenham.
