1. Silver medal with mounting. One side shows bust of King George VI. reverse side shows the UK crest. The words The Defence Medal are under the crest. No crown on King.
2. & 3. Silver medals with red, white and blue striped ribbon. One side shows crest of King George VI with crown. The reverse side shows a lion standing on a monster (Griffin)?. 1939-45.
