Pte Ernest James MEADE No 2112 (born Buningyong, enlisted Ballarat) on 19th June 1916, aged 25. NOK was listed as his mother, Mrs Susan Mary Meade. He joined the 39th Batt, 3rd Reinforcement. Embarked for the Western Front ex Melbourne on the "HMAT A9 Shropshire" - 25th September 191. RTA 18th July 1919 aboard the "Rio Pando".
