The card signed just “Frank” who was in Graylingwell War Hospital is believed to be Frank Alexander Hardie (also in Graylingwell War Hospital) No 3849 (born Bendigo, enlisted Bendigo) on 3.8.1915 in 12th Reinforcements 5th Bn age 23 years, embark for Eygpt 23.11.1915, embark for France 25.3.1916, WIA 25.7.1916 SW L Ankle and Head, then states R hand, rejoin unit 23.11.1917, Hospital 15.1.1918 with Influenza, rejoin unit 9.6.1918, hospital 21.6.1918 with Haemorroids, rejoin Unit 5.9.1918, promoted Sgt, RTA 19.6.1920, discharged 17.9.1920.
