HMAS Hobart Commendation presented by US Navy Unit 1969. Ship was fired on twice by US aircraft and two sailors were injured. 1968.
This item was donated by L.C. Jones R63987. Radio Op RAN, Laurie Jones, on behalf of Leading Radio Operator Special Terence Bernard Nugent (R65155) who served on HMAS Hobart from March 1968 to October 1968, HMAS Vendetta from October 1970 to November 1970 and HMAS Vampire November 1972

Blue covered booklet with black and white writing. Emblem showing Crown of ships over Hobart on ribbon. Lion in red on white background holding shovel and pick, Crossed boomerang, ice age axe and ribbon at bottom. Image of ship plowing through ocean. 18 pages of names and photos.
