An indenture is a formal legal document that establishes a binding agreement between two or more parties, outlining their rights, obligations, and terms of the contract. This indenture was between Francis James Every who was apprenticed to John Beall Young to learn the skills of Book Binder and paper ruler. Document was dated 24th April, 1899. Every went on to become a book dealer in King Street, Bendigo.

Indenture on light grey thick paper. Printed document with spaces left to enter free-hand details of the participants. Participant details hand-written in black ink. Signed at bottom by four persons: F. J. Every, William Henry Every, J. B Young and Henry Wood. Document dated 24th April, 1899.
