Physical description

A small rectangular white book on the history of Lilydale compiled for the Lilydale & District Historical Society. The front cover has a photograph of Lilydale's main street in 1864 showing two hotels, a shop and a wooden home which became the first school house. It lists the compilers and publisher. The title page is the same as the front cover.There is a Contents page, a map of the town and many photographs with details provided about each one.
