Army brassards (or armlets) are wearable insignia attachments, typically worn on the upper arm to signify specific duties, roles or ranks, often without needing to sew patches onto the uniforms. Attached to the shoulder using straps and featuring small pockets or unit patches. These examples show a Sergeants Chevron.
