Physical description

Child's cross stitch sampler.
Six decorative cross stitch borders, followed by alphabet in upper case with 2/3 of each letter and numbers1 to 15.
Second row of upper case alphabet with numbers 16 to 20.
Two rows of lower case alphabets followed numbers 1 to 6.
A religious verse and the name and date embroidered beside a simple cross stitch tree.
Worked on coarse beige linen in medium and dark blue cotton thread. Hemmed on three sides and selvedge on left hand side.
