This photograph is part of a series of b/w photos produced and marketed as postcards by Helena Warren. Mrs Warren, of Newmerella, Orbost was a well known photographer and local press correspondent during 1900s-1950s. She took many photos of local people, soldiers going to war, and of local events. Some of these photos in the pumpkin series appear to have been creatively manipulated.

This photograph are significant because it is an example of the work of local photographer, Helena Warren.
