This is an extract from Australian Archives of Series MP927/1/0, Item A259/18/12. This is a copy of a letter written by "PJ Clarey", Federal Member for Bendigo 18 Oct 1951to the Minister for the Army "The Hon J Francis, MP" The letter requests advice as to when Fortuna Villa that was compulsorily acquired during WWII from Mr Nott would be returned to Mrs Nott (his widow) and for reparations for perceived damages caused by the Army's occupation.
