The Willow Cookery Book is a collection of recipes published by the tinware and kitchenware brand Willow. First published in the 1930s it spanned 13 editions and was updated to include recipes as Australian's taste for more exotic cusine expanded.

Physical description

Small recipe book stapled together with cloth tape on the binding. Book produced by Willow Tinware founded in 1887 in Melbourne. The company produced tinplate kitcchenware, bakeware and storage containers. Became a staple found in Australian household during the twentieth century.

Inscriptions & markings

'The Willow Housewife's Handbook on Cookery, second edition.'
The owner of the book's name is on the first page 'M. Badham, 91 McIvor Rd, Bendigo.'
