Author has been identified on dedication page [handwritten blue ink] Numerous passages have been underkine and notations made [pencil]
Summary
The author undertook her nursing training in the early 1920's and details the endless hard work, unduly strict discipline andd the strange hierachy faced by student nurses at that time
