Container - Shortt's milk bottle

Historical information

Shortts Dairy in Newport, Victoria, which also operated as "Hillcrest Dairy", was situated on Bunbury Street in Newport during the 1930s and 1940s. It was run by a local dairyman S.H. Shortt.

Clear glass milk bottle, one imperial pint (570mL.) capacity, with embossed information.
