Historical information

This bottle originated from the M. H. Harney dairy , one of several dairy farms that existed in the locality of Williamstown, Spotswood and Newport. The M. H. Harney dairy was located at No 3 Collingwood Road, Newport, opposite to the power station, which no longer exists.

Small, clear glass milk bottle with front and back embossed inscriptions.

Inscriptions & markings

Front: (embossed) "This Bottle Contains MILK Bottled for Sale by M.H.Harney. Phone W'Town 743 3 Collingwood Rd Newport. Bottle is the property of the above, it is loaned and cannot be legally used by others".
Back: "One Imperial Pint."
