Sepia photo of newly built Bilton - Dillon two story premises in High St. Charlton. Photographed Nov. 1889. Centre shop is Charlton Chemist A.E Bilton from 1889 - 1920s. Local businessmen A. Stubbs, A. E Bilton and T. Dillon (drapers shop 1889 - 1945) standing in front of the shop. Along with a large crowd of people assembled in front of the shop. There are small shops either end of the Bilton - Dillon building.
