Lions Clubs were founded in 1917 in America. Service club for business men, for the community. Focus on vision, hunger, environment, childhood cancer, diabetes, youth, humanitarian efforts, disaster relief.The UKV Lions Club was formed in 1964.
Significance
The Upper Kiewa Valley Lions Club celebrated its 60th birthday in April 2024. The photo shows that the club was mainly for men and with 22 members in 1987 was doing well.
The names of members, on the back is beneficial for ID of residents in the UKV.
