Historical information
The Chevrolet trucks were used at Lake Boga Flying Boat Depot during its operational phase, 1942 to 1947. They were used to ferry personnel from location to location, including between the depot and accommodation. The number on the bonnet is the SN (now knows as the VIN), the registration number is that of an RAAF truck which was used here during WW2. Body by GM (USA)
