William Arthur BRISCOE (Service no: 19708), was born in Newport on 2 July 1914 and enlisted in the RAN on 4 April 1933.
Able Seaman, William Briscoe, served on HMAS Waterhen & HMAS Perth and on the 1 March 1942 became a Prisoner of War when the HMAS Perth was struck in combat and sank.
