Primary Schools were supported by Mothers' Clubs who met regulary as volunteers supporting the school with fundraising and classroom helpers. They were also involved with policy eg. daily free milk delivery for students
Significance
This book covers the period September 1948 to June 1956 and gives an insight into the activities of the club both locally and more broadly. It is a social history of the town and its people who were employed by the SECV.
In the 1940s Mothers' Clubs were involved in advocacy for funding eg. equipment and included child endowment.

Red and black foolscap book with red cloth spine. The Book contains minues of the Mt Beauty Primary School Mothers' Club meetings 1948 - 1956 - generally written in ink.
