Historical information

The SECV constructed the KHES and built a road from Mt Beauty to the Bogong High Plains. The road wound its way up the mountains and was susceptable to road slips especially during winter when the area received a lot of rain and, higher up, snow.

Physical description

Black and white very small photos scanned from negative strip. 11 photos altogther on 6 strips. all show the damage to the Bogong Higjh Plains Road afer rain. No date given but during the construction of the KHES by the SECV.
