St John's Ambulance provides First Aid training and services, defibrillators and 1st aid kits ab patient transfer. It is a self funding, non-profit charitable organidation. Iniatally founded in 1883 and in Melbourne from 1887. Followed by attending important events eg. Olympics in Melbourne. Provides non-emergency patient transport. Rural Ambulance Victoria was the founding ambulance service in Victoria.
Significance
St John's Ambulance was supported by the Upper Kiewa Valley Lions Club at Mt Beauty.
