Private Albert Searle Watson, Service no: VX1315, was born in Newport on 21 March 1912, and enlisted in the RAAF on 26 October 1939.
He served in the LAD 22nd Australian Field Park, RAE, 6th Division, AIF in Egypt, Palestine, Greece, and India.
