The nursing seminar was held as part of the Alfred Hospitals Centenary Celebrations in 1971.This paper covers the history of nurse training at the Alfred Hospital which was initiated in 1880 by Mrs Henrietta Trengold Strong,,The Alfred Hospital school of nursing was the first to be established in Victoria.
