Quadruple Golden Needle Caskets held more than one size needle and became a commercial success for the W Avery firm
Physical description
Brass rectangular slim brass needle box with a hinged top, front is decorated with a leaf with a butterfly. Near base - a small lever which can be moved to a number (6-7) on the front and (8-9) on the back. This lever when the lid is open pushes a metal container with the appropriate size needles upwards.
