Physical description
An old red cloth soft covered music book with a homemade brown paper cover. The red cover cannot be seen as it under the brown paper, but under a small tear at the top left side a black lined illustration of a woman and children singing can be seen. The title and owner details are handwritten in black ink on the outer cover. Printed on the title page there are full details of the title, use of the book, editor and composer, Volume and publisher. On the back is a list of all 17 editions with dates published as well as lists of Music Editions, Words Editions with prices. There is a Dedication, Preface. Order of Exercises, Alphabetical list of First Lines, Classified Index of the Songs and a Foreword. There are 189 songs Pp. 202.

On the front of the brown paper cover handwritten in black ink is ' Child's songs Carey Bonner' At the top right hand corner handwritten in black ink is, 'St Mary's, Sunday School, Wandin Yallock , Victoria.' inside on the right end paper written in grey pencil 'St Mary's Sunday School Wandin Yallock 8/33, H/N, 8/3. On a small torn piece of paper from a page address '1 Amanda Court Seville 3139. 059-54-3916'
