Historical information

This is a set of two photographs of an Army Headquarters (AHQ) Survey Regiment annual inter-squadron athletics competition held at the Tom Flood Sports Centre, Bendigo CBD circa 1963. The AHQ Survey Regiment squadrons took part in traditional athletics events and novelty events such as wheelbarrow races, sack races, fireman’s carry and tug-of-war. The photos published with Item 9058.11P were probably taken at the same time as these photo.

Photo .2) is printed on photographic paper and scanned at 300 dpi. The photographs are part of the Army Survey Regiment’s Collection.
