Her deployment to Rwanda, early in her career, saw her awarded the prestigious Medal for Gallantry, but had many other consequences, both professional and personal. It may be a difficult interview to watch but it carries an important message for all health care professionals about the need to be mindful of their own - and their colleagues’ - mental health.
