This is a white covered biography of Joseph Wilson, with the title and author printed in Roman style black lettering on the front cover, and a coloured painting of a clipper tall ship in the middle. Inside the front left end paper is a Log Book entry written by Joseph Wilson Sept 1 - 1841. There is Acknowledgements; Table of Contents and Preface followed by 21 Chapters and a Postscript. The book is very detailed of Joseph's life with black and white photographs, log entries, tables, illustrations, poems and lists. The back end paper has details and a black and white photograph of the author, Les Hutchinson, (Joseph Wilson's great-great grandson) and his family. The back cover has a blurb explaining the contents as well as a coloured painting of a view of Lilydayle in 1897. Pp.167.
