Historical information

Although the company logo on the front of the truck is blurry and unclear, it appears to indicate that this truck was produced by the International Harvester company. It may be an International Model 103, with an added (or optional) cab; some other photographs of trucks of this model do not feature a cab but share many similarities with the truck photographed. Model 103 was available as part of the HS Series from 1924 to 1932. It is unclear exactly where this photograph is from, but it is attributed as belonging to Ray Wood, likely a local figure to Emerald.

This is an example of vehicles used for transport and industry in the region in the early 20th century.

Physical description

This item is a sepia photograph of a truck (possibly an International Harvester Model 103) with solid rubber wheels parked on a residental street, with several houses - each with a fence and front yard - in front of it. The truck is pulling a trailer, carrying one large log on the truck's flatbed and another on the flatbed trailer. The reverse has some black residue from another piece of paper, alongside pencil annotations and an accession number.
