This document details the Technological advances of Automap 2, expanding the capabilities of the existing system in data capture, computing power and data handling for Cartographic purposes. It details information regarding the contract awarded in 1981 and acceptance testing. Initiallythere was problems with productioncapability but eventually things improved. This document discusses Automap 3 which was later abonded. This document appears to be incomplete.
