Unveiling of a Memorial in August 1986, at Williamstown Cemetery for three Japanese Seamen from the ship "Tsukuba", who died from Beri-Beri during June 1882.
The three sailors buried at Williamstown were, Able Seaman Jisaburo Miyamoto a descendant of a samuri; Able Seaman Hikotaro Shinohara and Able Seaman Tatsushiro Ishibashi.
