These types of 'thank you' photographic artworks were popular during the late 1800s and early 1900s.

Physical description

Four gelatin silver photographs removed from original window mount / artwork. Photographs are portraits of three young men and one older man. These were originally part of a photomontage dedicated to Mr G. T. Hill / Instructor 1911. The original work had a grey / blue mount which included hand drawn decorations around each of the photographs and text; E.E.M.P.C.C. / Mr G. T. Hill / Instructor 1911 / For Five Years Valuable Service.
Photographs are still attached to backing card and are in poor condition.
