The 2014 Australian 100 Years of ANZAC $1 uncirculated coin was released by the Royal Australian Mint to mark the start of the Centenary of ANZAC period (2014–2018). The coin was unveiled in February 2014 at Parliament House in Canberra to connect everyday citizens with the nation's wartime history.

Physical description

A 2014 Australian $1 dollar coin commemorating 100 Years of ANZAC (1914–2014) — a tribute to the bravery, sacrifice, and enduring spirit of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. This coin features a silhouette of a soldier with a bowed head and reversed rifle with the words "100 Years of ANZAC - The Spirit Lives 2014" detailed on the back. The reverse features the official Anzac Centenary logo showing an Australian soldier with a bowed head and reversed rifle. The outer edge has a sun-ray motif from the Rising Sun badge. One dollar ($1). The front displays the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
