Belt probably belongs to Lieut C.H. Simpson, 49th Infantry, CMF. 1913-1916 Melbourne.
Sam Browne belt assembly is of brown leather. It has a waist belt, shoulder strap and sword holder. Buckles are of brass and the belt buckle has a double pin arrangement. Width of belt is 5.5mm.
